I am considering purchasing the Sigma 4.5mm F2.8 EX DC Circular Fisheye HSM for use with a Canon 50D. I will be using the lens to shoot outdoor snowboarding on a hobby level. I was drawn to this lens due to its 180 degree coverage on APS-C sensors and its max aperture size. Should I forgo this "coverage" and consider other lenses? Are there disadvantages to this lens for my purpose? Any other suggestions?

Thank you,
Jason

Thread locked as it's a duplicate of one in the Canon section. Please continue there.
