Next time I go to a zoo, I'm going to take pictures of the signs that say which species you are looking at!

I know this guy is in the "Monitor" family, closely related to the Komodo Dragon

Looks close to the Opluridae, or Madagascan Iguanas, but he wasn't in the Madagascar-specific area - also looks close to the Collared Iguana.. without the stripes on the neck.

Not sure at all yet... I need to look around!

If anyone has more knowledge than I do with lizardes - help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the first lizard is a "Lace Monitor" latin: Varanus varius, not sure about the other ones. We have that one here is Australia and we call monitors goannas
