I liked the way this looked in back and white since he looks a bit dreary. I guess he'd rather be running free than confined within a cage.

Shot through a chain-linked fence.

Location: Secret Gardens at The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nevada
Lens: Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto
Specs: 1/400 second; F/5.6; 300 mm; ISO 200

great shot, id have loved to have seen it in colour. The tiger really does look downcast, its a shame they are confined for the likes of us to go and look at them, but as sad as that is, it really is the only way many of can view them. Once again great shot serenity, regards naniani :D

Sometimes you have to think about it as protection from poachers as well. Even though I'd love to see them run free, it's also one of the safest places they can be.

And yes, thank God for telephoto lenses!!
