im going to a dog show tomorrow, any advices ? 18-55 or 50mm ?

I think id be better with the 18-55 for the zoom, but i'll lose image quality and sharpness. Maybe I should shot in RAW

I've never been to a dog show, but I bet they're not that close to you, so I'd say there'd be little need for the 18-55mm unless you wanted shots of the whole room. The brighter aperture of the 50mm fixed lens could also be handy for indoor conditions - assuming you are indoors of course!

So my vote would be for the 50mm f1.8, but take both just in case!

I'd also vote for 50mm and bright aperture.
