I dont knw how if its big or not i dont have a reference to compare it to, those flowers look pretty small so i dont know :)

The bee is quite colourful but it is out of focus. But without any size reference we have no idea how big it is. Perhaps you could tell us roughly how many centimeters it was in length?

You are right. :oops: I should have mentioned the size of the bee. It was around 3 cm. and moved very fast, so as you mentioned it is out of focus. :(

I tried shooting some bees this weekend. They're a bugger. They just won't sit still for 5 seconds. Good effort though.

By the way Mehdi, what was the aperture set at when you took this shot?

I think this shot is out of focus because of too large an aperture which gave too little depth of field to have both the flower and the bee in sharp focus, rather than the bee moving.

This is just an assumption and I could be quite wrong :roll:
