I was able to get some pictures of the baby owl outside. My friend sold
him/her so this is the last I will get to take. He raises them so I should be
able to get some different ones.

Very cute, in an owlish sort of way. Was it a rescue? I didn't even know one was allowed to buy and sell owls in the UK these days.

I didn't know owls were sold, are they sold as pets or is it to private zoos or something? They look very different from adult owls! :D

Guys,
No it was not a rescue. The man who has him also has both parents. He
is licensed to own, rase and sell them. No he does not sell them as pets.
He sells them to zoos, places that use them to teach children about
wildlife etc. As you can immagine, it is a very regulated business. I am
fortunate to know him and be able to get the photos. I was hoping to get
photos at the different stages of growth, but he sold it to quickly.

Some beautiful shots there of my favourite bird. It is seldom we have the chance to see them so young, if you ever have the chance to take more please do, I adore them.

Cheers Ormina
