A coworker of mine has a license to raise and sell owls in England. He is
currently raising a baby Eagle Owl. It was born on 1 April 2008. I went
over and took some photos. I love his feet. It looks like he is wearing

Canon XTi
Canon EF 50mm
Canon EFS 18-55mm
Canon EF 75-300
Canon Speedlite 430EX Flash
Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod
Manfrotto 804RC2 Head

a gorgeous creature and looks kinda strange as a young one, but i don't believe you needed the camera flash on this particular subject.

Is that incredible...he has those ugg boots on...what an interesting fellow..under all his baby-ness, you can still see the dignity...still he looks like a giant matted wooly rug, with feet and eyes... what a great capture...have never seen one before..I hope that you can keep tabs on him while he grows up, and you will share them with us, if you can..
Because I will sure be looking for you, and this cute baby.
great work,

now there's a fuzzy little cutie if I've ever seen one...hehehehe!

What a privilege to be able to get this close and take a shot. I hope the flash didn't hurt his eyes.

Very nice :-) I too wonder if the flash was necessary as it's washed him out just a tad, but very nice shot nonetheless. Indeed a candid! lol

Cheers :-)
