Please forgive me if I'm breaking protocol by linking an album, but I'm loathe to upload all my pics yet again to a different site. These pictures were taken by myself on our trip to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. this weekend. We really went to trial run our new cameras, so they're pretty amateurish I suppose. But, I figured I'd share the better ones and see if anyone had any advice or comments.

what type of lens are you using? nice pics, just wondering what it took to get that close on some of these.

I used the Nikkor 55-200mm VR that I just purchased to take all of the shots. I'm definitely still learning with this new kit, but I think that the photos I can take with this lens (especially for the price) were superb.
