As I mentioned before I went away at the weekend, took some pictures of a peacock which are below, actually there are 2 images from the same frame, just wondering whether the tighter crop (which is my favorite) works better or the wider one would be preferable, maybe you have different ideas completely in which case please let me know

Tighter crop's better than the uncropped here.

It's good that you've got the eye in focus, but it's a shame that there's motion blur from the peacock's movement. You could have bumped ISO to 400 and that would up your shutter speed to counteract that. The bokeh is good, perhaps a little strong for my liking, but you've isolated your subject very nicely. The only other thing the image lacks is colour. Otherwise a good shot.

I pretty much agree with Photoj. The cropped version somehow works much better than the original. It's probably more anthropomorph...
