This is more of an intro post - I have a feeling this will be the section I frequent the most (along with landscapes).

These were taken within the first few days of owning my new Canon Rebel XTi. I'm coming straight from a point and shoot camera, so I'm a DSLR novice.

I love nature photography, however, my three kittens are "available" so they are often to victims of my photos. Don't mind the sloppy comp too much - these are more test shots than anything, I usually have much better comp than this!

It's a start.... I have a lot to learn...

Am liking the snoozing cat best of all of these three shots...man, for your first attempt, you really got it right!!

I've been dying to take her out of the house and to see what I can come up with. Unfortunately, for the two weeks that I've had the camera I've been both sick and working long hours.

Soon.... soon....

I'm a sucker for nature photography.
