Its defiantely been a while since I have posted here. Got out the other day though just to check out the migration. Seems the peek is still a few weeks off. I'm really hoping to be out at the hieght of it this year which usually lasts 2 days or so.

Anyways... Wood ducks hardly never make it up this far north. Thier range normally ends about 200 kilometers sound of me. Imagine my surprise when these two swam around the corner of a pond I frequent often... Shots were taken at about 40 meters and light was wrong but happy just to see these 2. Gonna head back a few more times next week to see if they are still around.

Some geese... besides the landing shot the others were more about reflections and water color due to fall foliage than anything else...

It's been a while since I've poked my head in here, lots of great shots as usual. Wolf, I'm always Jealous when others get wood duck shots, they are so beautiful! I love the colors of the reflections from the leaves combined with the awesome colors of the ducks.
