a few weekends ago i got the privilege of seeing olympians ride at an fei sanctioned show... some of the results:
(bragging rights: this shot got alot of attention on explore.. i was quite surprised at the response!)
all were shot on my 20d with the 70-300 usm (that's dying. most of the weekend i used manual focus because the motor is soooooo sloooooow..). the first day was deeply overcast and the light was craptastic, but that was the day the olympians were riding. so i shot anyway, lol. the second day had better light, and still, many many talented riders and beautiful horses. fantastic performances. such a privilege.
