Yesterday I was out in the back roads of Cambridgshire and caught this shot of a falcon setting on a church. I know it's not a great shot, but I liked it.

it is a good shot, I love how you caught him looking over his shoulder...he is a little broody, don't you think?

That image needs some cropping to make the falcon appear, at first i was looking at the image thinking "where is the faclon" try cropping it a bit more thus the falcon will appear more...and i guess that is what you want?

He was just on the peak of the church. The steeple was on the opposite end.

At Bolsa Chica - south of Los Angeles, there are numerous falcons, particularly Kestrels. Though usually shy, I was able to approach one bird to within about 12 feet a few times. I'll try to post a pic when I get off the mobile.
