These cubs are from the same reserve where I took the shots Day Dreamer.

Also taken with the Coolpix L1.

This one is obviously not Day Dreamer's cub, but thought I'd show him anyway.

It's ok to get close to them as long as you do not touch their paws or the back of their ears.

Other than that, they're quite playful and loving.

but those claws r killers haha, i really like the first shot

i always wanted to see cubs like these but never really had a chance, i saw them once when i was smaller but i cant rember that now

The first one is awesome (even though a bit more DoF might have been better), and the second one is excellent as well. Great job here ;)

I wish had some control over the depth of field, that's why I'm upgrading to a DSLR. I've been handicapped way too long by my P&S now :x

Cowabunga!! lol..what great portraits.

Just goes to show that it's the photographer and not the gear that makes an image.

Very enjoyable shots - can't help but grin ear to ear when seeing them :-)
