You guys know how I feel about gulls, but only because of the Alfred Hitchcock movie, the Birds.
Lah spoke so highly of them, the other day, when I was at the beach today, I spotted this little one cruising along..just about sunset..in the harbor..

Ok. Lah. You win. He was one nice bird...

Patti........ use levels in photoshop to brighten up your image...... just move the far right slider a bit to the left and the middle slider to the left........ your image should look a lot better.......

gracias, BP, I will try to lighten it up, and see what happens...
Alex, this was taken just inside the harbor, and this one was following along hoping someone would toss it an evening snack...the day was dark, with the storm blowing out, and the water was refecting the evening lights..at first I thought it looked like oil slicks, but, it was just the reflections of the sunset colors.

Heh patti,

them gulls sure are handsome in their own way - the corvettes of the birds :-)

Very nice shot - the reflections in the wake really add to the picture. Nice one!!

Cheers :-)
