Hi,

I have two mini-Wieners (Dachshunds) - Bruno(brown) and Brutus(black) - 14 and 4 y/o respectively. They are everywhere with us, whenever possible. Loyal to a fault and they don't mind sleeping on top of you, with their face resting on yours.

While they have many qualities, one stands out: everywhere we go, people smile - I hope they can do the same for you.

Cheers :-)

As those were really beasty-boys. Would not let my legs come in the way of those two...

All great shots, but the way the dog stares at you from the first one is quite amazing! You've grabbed some great moments and expressions there!

Heh..they are insufferably cute and they know it!!

Alex168: the brown one is the older guy. He had back surgery 3-4 years ago, which has increased his turning radius some and it ate up more than what a D3 with the 18-200mm VR lens would've cost me. But it was worth it.

Thomas..lol..no. Bruno & Brutus have never bit anyone, except nipped once at my boys for being smart(beep)s. They are extremely sociable and perfectly kid-safe - although the older one can growl at pestering kids a little if they are too smothering.

Thanks for the kind words - they are a big part of me/us on an everyday basis, but that's a feeling I'm sure you can empathize with if you've ever had or have pets :-)

Cheers!
