Post subject: out in the garden

working out in the garden today and came across this wee beast, Blue Tongue Lizard, only a small one , about 20cm or 8 inchs, lying under some cover but he took off as I got my camera. This is a shot of the lizard digging his way out of his place of rest, but unknown to me till today. He had been pushing the dirt away from the entrance with his head, and I caught him during a rest period. I will place a cover over the area where he is, so he can come and go and I can get on with the garden as he is in my veggie patch
