zoos are obviously not the most friendly environment to shoot wildlife in when taking into account all the barriers and limited angles. That being said you may want to focus on your shutter speeds to reduce some of the blurring. Ideally, in my opinion, your want a minimum shutter speed of 200 for large mammals but optimally you want to break 800 for any wildlife if at all possible. Using a tripod or even a mono-pod may also prove to be helpful under low light conditions or any conditions involving animal movement based on weather conditions or the animal itself and also your movement/vibrations.
