I found these shots taken last summer and I could not resist sharing them with you "especially for Patti"

Taken in the days when I was still in the point and shoot mode some of the time. I hope to have the chance this year to go back to the farm and find another foal. I still find myself going at the subject hammer and tongs without re setting the camera, but not half as much as I used to.

The little foal was quite lively when we first came accross it in the field






I have no idea how old it was, but still a bit unsteady on the feet. It was already beginning to get more relaxed after about ten minutes.




After about fifteen minutes, it had had enough and just leaned over and fell fast asleep. So cute.

ormina, Thank you so much for this...he is very cute...lol..snoozin in the grass..he must have felt pretty comfortable with you there, otherwise he would not have stretched out and felt like being sleepy..
A testament to your calm, soothing presence, waiting on your shot...and your great eye...you captured a blissful day, am glad you were there..
