 Post subject: I went to the Zoo :)

Not quite in the wild, not quite pets, but somewhere in between :)

Havn't been to the Zoo in years. Pretty much every shot I took was at 135mm, and was quite a bright day so didn't have to much of an issue with camera shake.

All shot at 100iso, so you see! I don't need image stabalisation! (Cough cough)

I loved this Lion, we came just after they were feed, so that would explain this...

This one was keeping a lookout while the other one played with something down below :)

This is a clear indicator you need this fantastic stabilized Nikkor VR 70-300mm. See Gordon's review here :wink:

Nice shots. A lot of my shots are taken at 135mm too.

Why stop at 300mm Thomas? I'm aiming for the new VR 600mm. :wink: :lol:

Hehe :) This is definatly the most I've used this lense at the top end. I only needed to as it was the Zoo and the animals usualy arn't sitting right infront of you :)

But nice plug anyway, hehe.

And those Merkats and cool too. We have those at the Zoo near here too.
