Welcome to the forum Alex,

You did great with the exposure and the lighting. As for the composition I would have liked to see less sky on the right and more to the left, as that's the direction the gull is looking and flying into. I also like the motion blur on the wings giving it a sense of motion.
Just to nit pick, It's to bad you clipped the tip of it's left wing.

Just my two cents.
