Wolfsong, just curious why you are taking another 7D, did you consider a FF ie a 5D ?

kpr.. the boat is 53 meters.. will have 26 ppl on board ideally.

max... I get the results I want with the 5D and 7D so really have no need for a full frame at this time or in the foreseeable future. My clients when I have them are happy with the shots I get as am I...

another thing would be what happens if the full frame breaks down and I was hoping to get certain shots with it or had it along for a specific reason ... I'd only have 1 FF body with me... all photographers I have been out with on extended outings choose between FF and CF bodies and carry one or the other and rarely both on these types of outings... and along those lines I have only met one wildlife photographer on a 2 week+ outing who was shooting with all, 3, FF bodies... he shot for national geographic and had an assistant along to carry all his gear.

and there will be 3 zodiacs on board as well kpr... 2 for outings one for backup/emergencies.
