Work brought me to the safari park. I’m not prepared for wildlife photography, my Tamron 28-300 is quite slow to focus, soft by birth and I strongly suspect that it needs adjusting at the longer end. But I wouldn’t miss the opportunity and took the shots anyway. I would appreciate C&C and could use any tips you may think of. My experience in this field is slim at best.

Nice set Radu... most head-shots of the birds are really nice.
I don't know about you, but when I shoot animals I always get better shots if it's early or late in the day (sunlight) they appear much better.

Thanks . I know about the light, and of course, you are right. Alas I didn't chosse the time, it was'nt planned at all. Appart from outdoor portraits, where the side lighting leave long shadows on the face, I prefer too early morning/late aftrenoon light.

I too prefer early day shooting.
Thank you for sharing my kids love animals, and they're asking me for a ZOO trip.
