I like the first 2 shots, but the others too many distractions.
If you're looking for thoughts about the lens, I don't have a 50mm so I wouldn't know.

The second two are a bit cluttered. Because the 50mm isn't a macro lens, you're obviously unable to get right in close and so the ladybird gets a bit lost. The first two are a bit closer to what I think you might be trying to do but again because the ladybird is so small, it ends up looking like a blob as to anything more recognisable. I'm not sure this lens is really ideal for what you're trying to do.
