just moved from film to digital and i love it finally it is cost effective this was shot on a nikon d5000. I was worryed that the camera was going to be to simple for a film user but I found that it is a great entery level camera there is so much i don't know about the dslr but i am learning in a year i will be ready for the d90 (mabey)

Cool shot, i like the setup a lot. Only thing is that i think it would've been nice to see whith a darker background, to make the hamster stand out a bit. But a really nice first shot indeed.
