Yep, the first snow and i walked right into a herd of chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra rupicapra) which I've been observing closely for quite some years now.
All I had was the 16-85, but they let me get close enough. For two of the kids (I managed to frame them) it will be the first winter, which is always the toughest.

1/30 sec, f/9, ISO 400, 85 mm

Of course, when shooting the herd there is always one female showing me her behind. I don't know, does she do it on purpose?
