Seeing these has contributed to my desire to go on a safari again. Alan, if I can ask, who did you go with and would you recommend them? In a general search so far there seems to be plenty of providers so picking one is going to be hard...

I will most certainly use them again when I go back.

Everything was seemless for all parts of the booking, no trouble or hitches whatsoever.

If you can plan it try and be there for the Masai crossing, it is amazing!

Alan, thanks for the earlier link. Originally I was thinking of going in winter to get away from the local cold, but looking it up some more catching the great migration sounds like something that shouldn't be missed.

If you go again, can I stow away in your baggage? I'll be good excess baggage

hehehe, I was just gonna ask you the same question

The problem with the baggage was the internal flight, a tiny 10 seater with a baggage allowance of 10kg. So my packing consisited of 9.5kg camera gear and .5 kg clothes. Now where would i fit you in on that

I guess I might need a bit of a diet!

I had previously looked at other safari providers, and the internal flight generally seems recommended although not cheap. Apparently there's a 3 hour bus service but I couldn't find any more details on that. More as a cost saving, particularly so if there's more weight allowed too.
