Let's give it another try, yeah? You'll get the hang of it. Start by right-clicking on the photo you want to post in the forum, then click on "Properties." Highlight the
entire "Address," and copy it. For example, the address of one of my photos is:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2673/384 ... af7314.jpg
It will always
start with "http://" and should always
end in ".jpg".
Then, when you're entering text into the text box in the forum, start by clicking the "Img" button, or, alternatively, type in [img]. Then, paste the "Address" of your photo directly after the [img], like this:
[img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2673/3847603458_7425af7314.jpg
Directly after the end of your "Address" (in other words, following the .jpg of the address), click the Img button again, or type in [/img]. The whole thing should now look like this,, but
without the spaces (I had to add the spaces in to show you what it should look like):
If you've done it correctly, you should see something like this!
You can use the "preview" button to check and see if you've done it correctly before posting.
From you last few posts, it seems you are having two problems.
1. You're not getting the entire "Address" of the photo in the post. A
complete address will start with http:// and end in .jpg. The entire address for your finch photo is
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3424/387 ... 8b6fd1.jpg
2. You need to put the Img tags
directly before and
directly after the "Address." Remember to "close" your tags. Sometimes it's easiest if you type them in yourself, instead of using the buttons. Type [img]before%20the%20"http://"%20of%20your%20Address,%20and[/img] after the .jpg
