Well that made me grin a bit, I like that people noticed. I had the pleasure to shoot with the 300 2.8 IS that weekend. I rented it for the weekend mainly for an airshow, but I tried as hard as I could to fill my hole weekend with photo related things. At the show I used a 1.4 teleconverter, but it was to long at the zoo so these were all at 300.
serenity ~ That is a great capture you got there, its eyes are so large it almost looks fake. Yes I also have the 1600 ISO problem, its grainy and get an OK shot or lower it and risk getting no shot. Indoor is soo hard.
thanks again for the comments, I was really excited about the lens, didn't really get to learn it completely but it was an incredible piece of equipment.
I will be posting in the lens section and action (airshow) when I organize some more pictures.
