I set up my own little studio using my blanket and bouncing my flash off the ceiling/wall.. and i got some really cool shots... and here they are...

1.

A little owl that my grandfather gave to me that was carved by his brother.

2.

Wooden doll that you mold to different shapes.. youve all probably seen one

3.

For all these shots i used

-Nikon D80
-Vivitar 2800 (about 35 years old.. BUT is a wonderful flash and gets the job done)

In shots 2 and 3.. tell me which one you think is better.. there both similar but the backgrounds are different.. which one do you like better.

I actually retook this shot because shot 3 was actually a crop and i wanted to retake it so it had better detail and more quality.. so what i said earlier.. which one do you like more out of 2,3, and 4.

Those are some nice still life photos!

What did you use as background so to speak? I have one of those art wood dolls some where, but i just cannot seem to find it, they are alot of fun. You can pretended that they are humans if you don't have any models like myself.
