Not sure if these shots suit exactly this section but I didn't find anywhere else to post them. I'll let them do the talking...

thanks cameraguy,

yes I did use continuous shooting for these. Meaning that I ended up with a great deal of useless shots I had to sort out, but I think it was worth it

#2 and #3 were very nice. They looked like an erupting volcano. :)

Just plain awesome, I'll try this sometime. (Although I don't quite like getting my camera anywhere near water, for obvious reasons)

Thank you for the comments,

and yes SnS, I did get my D80 a bit wet. My camera was in continuous shooting and I was in continuous drying mode, drying with my sleeves any drop that had the brilliant idea of landing on my camera instead of in the puddles in front of me.
But let me reassure you, my little baby is fine!

Quentin thats a really good job!

I tried myself this but just didnt get any good shots of them it was either before or just after the drops and i was shooting like crazy, maybe next time i m going to go fully manual and MF as well and just keep the shutter down and hope to get GREAT RESULTS like the ones you got!

Spelndid!
