Taken with D40 and kit lens.

I hate winter, especially harsh one!

EDIT..

Nope, the forum actually allows images up to 1024 on their longest dimension except in the on assignment topic.
Nice picture by the way, and welcome to the forum!
Maybe the photo could benefit from a more horizontal angle though?

Welcome to the forums!

..and a very nice picture to start off with. The D40 shows it's colors yet again.

Cheers :-)

yes it certainly does show colors well...and that is a really nice shot...they look like tulips to me...just baby ones... great first post, and along with everyone else, wishing you welcome Camera Labs..where the newbie and the pro, and everyone in between, come to compare notes.

Hope maybe you'll find a way to post something for this months "ON ASSIGNMENT"...lots of time left for that... and of course, I will need to duck...goose, or swan. If you wander on down to the Wildlife and Pets, and look for the Duck O' da day, that's were you'll find all the ducks.

Hello danmeatcutter, and welcome to the friendly Camera Labs forum!
Yeah we're all keen to see fresh green, and yes I'd also vote for "tulips".
Great first post!
