I took this photo for fun to test the so-called "Digital Vari-Program" Macro on my camera.. (I usually prefer P, S, A)

I'd like some feedback - remember, I am just a newbie!

Here is the EXIF:

Camera: Nikon D50
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 55 mm
Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV
ISO Speed: 200
Lens: AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5~5.6G ED

Well i would ahve taken this in A mode and set my fnumber to something smaller then 8 maybe 5.6 or something. And may i ask why you didnt shoot with the 50mm lens you can do some intense blurring with that and the DOF would have beena lill better as it would be a 75mm on ur D50 croped sensor

Apart from that the shot is nice and crips and you got the idea of blurring the background!
