I know there is not many of us on the male dominated forum. But I would just like to wish all the mums out there a happy mothers day. It is mothers day here in Britain today

I have spent my day trawling through the fields knee deep in mud in search of a decent bridge shot. "dont ask" I should have stayed at home and been pampered.

This is one of my first macro shots from last year and just happens to be a favourite flower. For those who may not know it is a thistle.

We may be only a handful here, on the CL..but we are surrounded by the best men on the planet, I am convinced.

Beautiful Thistle...something Scot I think...lol...I love thistles, we don't have one that even comes close to that, here...we have something called a star thistle, and it hurts bad when you are out riding, and it pierces you. How the cows love to hang out in a patch of those nasty things...goin in after them, brings a tear to my eye..( and not in a good way).
