As I know little about identifying flora, except the few I know from around my house or local gardens, I had no idea what this was. It was while out birding in southeast Florida wetlands, and this one flower and another that looked like buds were standing about 4 feet off the water above the grasses and well lit, so I decided to shoot them too:
They're just swamp plants growing wild, but I found them very pretty - anyone know what they are?
