 Post subject: Playing with Photoshop

Originally I took this photo in color. I put the leaf into a separate layer in photo shop. I then turned down the saturation on the background to make it black and white. Then I went back to the layer with the leaf and turned up the red balance, I merged them back together and used the blur tool to blend the edges back into the photograph.

Pentax K1000||50mm||f8||1\125||ISO 200

Try this video, as well as many other ones from this guy. Your attempt is ok, quite well executed, but still nothing particularily exciting in my opinion.

Keep on trying :) It's the same with everything - the more you do it, the better you're at it:)
