Wasp portrait XIV by Gustavo Mazzarollo, on Flickr

With the daylight increasing the wasps started to return, no nest archictecture at this time but some solitary ones appear in my home. This one received a little honey on finger.

f/10 | 1/100s | iso 100 | FEC +2/3
Canon T1i with Canon MP-E 65mm @ 4.5x.
580 EX II flash bracket mounted with a LumiQuest Mini SoftBox diffuser near the lens and silver bounce at right. Macro Gear and tests

Had a brief look through your photostream on flickr. Wow.. just incredible! I've never seen insects with such detail so close up. I'm seeing these creatures in a whole new light. That MP-E 65mm is an insane lens.
