Hey all,
I had a great day with the camera,
on the knees, bending, walking, climbing, and learning.
Thank god for my Sony A350, with the LCD panel that pivots.

So here are some of my shots, comments are always welcome

Nice sharp shots, apart from the fungus on the log; I don't think the the focus is quite where it should be. I kept looking at the edge of the log.
My favourite is the one below the log, with its combination of green and yellow hues. I would have cropped out the twig on the top right hand corner, though. (Found it slightly intrusive).

Thank you JamieK,
I agree with your comments and thank you so much.
Was not certain to crop the twig out, but it does pop out slightly.

About the fungus on the log, well I was tryimg to get the log and the fungus all focused.

It's my first for mushrooms, I had so much fun, but today I'm kinda in pain from all the rolling around and climbing. Was worth it dough

Yup down and dirtyyyyy
I'm looking forward for next dirty shooting job.
:D

I find it hard to concentrate on the subject when your on the ground, not easy to focus on the image. (condensation on the view finder from the sweat), the chin in the dirt... don't get me wrong it was fun. Almost felt like the army.

My next dirty shooting job will probably be tonight. Friday 13th makes for some pretty interesting street photography :)

You've got a great live-view system on the A-350, that might help to counter the dirt and the sweat.

Great, beautiful fungus and nice subject isolation, I would consider some off center aproaches in next works, but these are very good.

Live view on the A350 really, I know but my eye sight is getting bad.
I use the live view for over head shots, or waist height. Looking forward to your the 13th shots, thank you very much for your pointers and help, hope I can help in return.

I agree with Gmazzing I'll try to remember the off center shots next time I crop them. I always shoot wider so I can crop either left or right. Thank you so much Gmazza, having a comment from you means so much
