One more of the experiments to better capture the Robber Fly eyes. This time the classic dew covered photo, used a Raynox MSN-202 in front of the MP-E @ 3.5x, about 6:1, even needed to crop from 4752 x 3168 to 3834 x 2556.
Start a fight of depth of field and diffraction, and also HUGE light losses, but is another viable alternative to be considered.
