I like this, but I'd like to suggest a possible crop: cut out the flower in the background (i.e. crop a few millimeters above the focal flower. The big flower in the background is just the wrong amount of out of focus, and it's really distracting from the gorgeously sharp butterfly in the foreground.

I take your point jaxzwolf, which is valid. The only thing that I didn't like when I tried a square crop (and I nearly always try different crops) is that I was left with the stalk, which begged the question ... what's on the end of that?
I know I could have cloned it out, but I'm not keen on that approach.
I appreciate your comments.
