I'm just curious. I do a lot of close-ups and have started thinking about buying a dedicated macro lens. I think I've read too many adds and lens reviews. My head is already spinning with the general: DO USE OUR LENS... blabla. Reviews on Nikon, Sigma, Tokina and Tamron lenses have started to sound the same and a decision is nowhere in sight.

Generally, I'm interested in your opinion about how the lens(es) you own work in daily use. What you use them for, why you like them best, what you dislike about them, ... You get the picture.

I'm unsure if this post shoud have been placed in another section of this forum.
