Boy do I hate spiders... :twisted: Still, nice pictures :wink:

Is that the new 85mm DX macro lens? What do you think of it? Any chance we┬┤ll see a user review perhaps?

Seems like the 85mm is working nicely on your D90. I own a D90 myself and I'm thinking about buying a macro lens, too. I was looking at Nikon's lens range and found 60 mm, 85 mm and 105 mm macro lenses to be available. I'm still unsure which one to pick, so I'm definitely looking forward to more of your test pictures and hopefully a lengthy review on what you think is positive or negative when using this lens.

@Tikva

I just wrote a review on the 105mm VR macro lens a few weeks back... I am using it on my own D90. :D

Here are some sample images taken with the lens and what to expect.

Cheers.

And congrats on your 85mm dude!

@ fallenembers

Oooops. I actually read your review before but never made the connection. Thanks for the links to the pictures.

In case anyone else was wondering, here's the link to fallenembers review:

Wow it would be great to see a user review of the 85mm lens. Theres not that much information around on it.

Great shots as well by the way!
