That\s a pretty neat shot there HNV!

You used one single light source I think? and did you have a backgroud drop for this, was is in a (semi-)studio ?

awesome concept...


but personally i would've shown his hands...

it leaves the eye wanting, everything else looks great...

looks like a project i'll have to try out!

I know that I cut the hands, I didn't want to, but i had to.. the subject was holding the off-camera flash in his hand. the flash was a sb-800 with the omni bounce thing on the head (i think that's how it's called) to soften the shadows. manual value (1/4 i think) and the on-camera flash (set as master) would fill the subject (1/128 power i think).

no studio, just in the front of a white wall.
