With the summer over (ok not in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand) there MUST be some shots of people at the beach! Let's collect them here and see what you have accomplished.

Let me start off with a trio I have just captured walking and talking, the seagulls giving the background chatter:
Image

Shot with the Sigma 150/2.8 macro at f/4.0 1/8000 sec, ISO 200, -1EV. I converted to black&white because the colors had absolutely no relevance to this image.

So come on, post your beach-shots!

I wanna join in. Taken on the beach of an island in Lake Victoria (the Ugandan part).

With the kit lens at 55mm, F9.0, 1/160sec due to and exposure comp. of -2/3 EV. ISO 100.

That's a pity!
The white background came from various factors:
- That day the horizon was quite hazy
- I upped the exposure in post-processing
- I used some curve to flatten out the upper quartile and get more contrast in the 2nd and 3rd quartile of the exposure-curve
