These are two friends of mine I study with. They usually don't like to be photographed, so I'm rather proud of them smiling for me :).

Anyway, it seems I am more capable with flowers and insects. Advice on how to improve myself are very welcome!

I think they're nice. Fill flash (simply pop up the flash) could have made the 3 first better. If you already used fill-flash, a little more power (flash compensation +1) next time. at 2 and 3 I find the second model a bit distracting. I would have brought them side by side in order to have a more neutral background.

My opinion is that the first is the best off all... allthough you should have used a smaller aperture (the DOF is too narrow). Both eye have to be in focus.
