 Post subject: Bowens?

Afternoon all, I recently dug out my old Courtney studio flash equipment and after many years of being up the loft found it worked well (flash cord with a 30D). Lucky enough to have had a 40D for a while and feel it's time to upgrade the small studio lighting set up (mainly food and people) and the Bowens 500's or 750+'s (three heads) seem to do the job.

There is a Calumet in Glasgow and they were very helpful - just wondered if you have had any thoughts on a Canon/Bowens set up good/bad/do it/ don't do it - go dx or analogue - any thoughts on the speedring set up and 'me too' or experience with Bowens fit 3rd party products etc.

Thanks

JJ
