Tilt it straight that is what i would have done and that second crop doesn't work its too tight, how about selective coloring? to enhance the colors of the eye!

Nice! Euhm, suppose you have photoshop, you could altern the curves... if you know what that is, else google it. That way you can bring out the wrinkels a bit more... could be cool as wel.
Nice job!

18-135 lens?

Nice job, it almost looks as if the lens of the camera is the pupil of the eye, dunno if you ment this, but it looks cool all the same.

Lets see the rest of the eye lashes to the right, so uncrop a little please =D

I love the deep blue selective, but think it looks more interesting tilted. What's that saying again, "can't please all the.." :)

It would be better if the eye was wide open I think.

OMG THE REFLECTION SHOWS A D3!

Congratulations on your new gear! :D :P

I reckon the first one just needed that amazing (!) deep blue; I think it's angled nicely and framed nearly perfect (slightly off centre).

Gee, what a divisive photograph for such a simple one! :)

I think it looks much better the like that, alot more natural!

What do you think? Its not the best what we think, its what you like in the end that matter the most!

The colour version defintly makes the shot work more than the black and white.
