really really. It is really gorgeous, all the way around...your daughter is exquisite. the shot is superior...in fact, the tones the warmth, the lighting, it dosen't get too much better, then this. Will be fun to watch her grow up!!

That is a really nice shot - I presume it was with your 24-105mm?

So your flash was off camera? Did you use a cord and was it handeld or mounted somewhere?

Thanks Markh!!

Gordon, it was on my 17-40mm and flash was mounted on camera but I tilted the head toward above of my right shoulder bounced to the wall. BTW, it's nice to received a good comment from you, I guess everybody in this forum feels the same...Thanks again

What white balance settings did you use?

That's a very vibrant portrait with lot's of "impact"

Her natural beauty and a slightly enigmatic expression - perhaps on the verge of a smile - combined with good lighting and a little catch-light, makes this portrait really good.

The background depends on the purpose or the mood you wish to portray. It looks like a home so that's where you think she is, when seeing it.

With a face like that - expressive and large brown eyes and a perfectly defined cupid's curve to her lips - you could drape her in the Crown Jewels of England and she'd grab all the attention.

Cheers :-)

I like it. :-)

Maybe try with a plain background and see if it turns out even better?

G,

I'm using auto white balance shooting in Raw and I think I have changed to cloudy setting...forgetful :D

LahLahSr,

Thanks for your comment and yes, it was in her bedroom. It was a casual shot as to try out my new flash.

artofnora & luis,

Thanks a lot...
