Just having a bit of fun messing abotu in school. Nothing to serious photography wise, so there are a fair few technical mistakes so go easy

I wanna go back to school...armed with what I know NOW, of course..lol hindsight being everything... Some good shots here, DD. Do I hafta choose a favorite? Ok, I like the second to the last one, with the angles, and the clutter on the wall, and the ominous tone.. and oh, I dread to think that is a whip, but whatever it is, the motion blur is nice...you kids be careful. And don't run with that, it will poke your eyes out.
lecture over, and back to class you go...know you've been busy, and am glad to see you checking in with some nice work..yipeeeee!!

Wow, you like to play with very wide angle which create quite amount of distortion. It's fun.

on 2nd and 3rd pics, I wish that that the depth of field is not too shallow
so the face of the object is sharp.

But i understand it is probably due to indoor low light situation.

I get the feeling that DD_Nvidia actually wanted the face out of focus personally, and I think #3 works best, but my fav pic of the lot is #1 - awesome pic with some real emotion IMO.

I left my camera in the common room today, came back and the CF was nearly full LOL Katie and Tony had been taking some pictures, I left it on Aperture Priority F/2.8 ISO 800 for them [might post some of them later, still have to lob them onto my pc yet]

Its amazing how easily the Depth of Field at F/2.8 gets people excited!

My School days are almost over! 6 wonderful years at high school just about done >_< Our official leaving date is May 9th, obviously we still have exams to sit [photography is the 30th of May =D]


Patti - It's a microphone haha! We had some because we have a karaoke machine which we just use really as a cd player. [although we did have one day where people were singing songs haha!]

Enche - Yeah I <3 my Sigma 10-20 - the wide angle really creates interesting portraits I've come to understand that if you want to learn something, the best way is to play and experiment and have fun doing so - Thats Bert Monroy's attitude to photoshop, and thats how I learned that, so it seems to work for photography too

As for lighting, F/2.8 ISO 800 produced shots of around 1/60th - 1/250th
