Joined my first ever photo walk yesterday, organized by the Dutch Photography Museum in Rotterdam. I live very close to Rotterdam and I come there very often to attend university, but I have never really explored the city with my camera. Much of Rotterdam was bombed during the second World War, so there is not much a historic city centre left. Still, as I learned yesterday, it can be a very cool city to practice street photography.
The photo walk was preceded by a visit to the museum's new Robert Doisneau exhibition. Very inspiring, in fact so much so that I will definitely visit again. If you're in or near Rotterdam any time soon, do go see it as well, I highly recommend it!

Also, I don't think I posted these in the street section yet, so here goes. First two were shot at the SS Rotterdam, an ocean liner that sailed all over the world and is now a hotel, restaurant, bar, conference facility, etc. There's also a tour on the ship, which I will take sometime soon. The third shot was taken at the Rotterdam zoo. The soccer ball-sized elephants you see are all the rage here in Holland, or they were anyway.
